On July 16, 2010, the U.S. Senate approved the conference version of the financial reform legislation, entitled the Dodd-Frank Wall Street
Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Act); this follows House approval on June 30. The Act is approximately 2,000 pages, amends many federal laws, and covers a large number of issues.
